Each class includes Five 4-hour sessions with your instructor, a pre-class sewing machine use workshop, two 4-hour Quilt ‘til You Wilt sessions (providing you with extra time to work on your class project or to work on an optional Make It & Take It project), and the opportunity for additional open schedule 3-hour sessions of sewing machine time during the cruise. All classes are limited to 15 quilters and will be filled on a first come/first served basis at the time quilting class registrations are received with the quilting fee paid.

You’ll be an expert after Joyce leads you thru her slick & easy methods of “cut and glue” combined with raw edge appliqué stitching. You’ll create a wall-sized tropical themed landscape designed especially for this cruise without the headache of selecting fabrics! Packed with tips galore, this class is structured for all levels of quilters, especially beginners! You’ll go home with a stunning reminder of your tropical adventure! A kit will be required for this class and will include all supplies for the class except for basic supplies. |

Joyce Becker No Stress Landscape Quilts |
Using a visual inspiration you provide along with your own fabrics, you’ll design, stitch, and embellish a beautiful, original landscape quilt. Class includes: Joyce’s original “cut and glue” raw-edge appliqué techniques along with design, perspective, fabric selection, scale, value, realistic embellishments and finishing techniques. Countless tips included along with fine finishing recommendations. A stress-free class with lots of laughter!!! |

Cruise with us through the Panama Canal and join Jackie in making a lasting memory of your trip with this cruise memory wall hanging quilt. You will use the combined methods of piecing and buttonhole stitch appliqué. The required class kit will contain all the fabric needed to complete the project. Jackie’s classes always focus on fun and this class will be no exception! |

Fort Lauderdale, Florida: There is an abundance of things to see and do in the Ft. Lauderdale area: visit the newly redesigned Ft. Lauderdale Beach and cafes, stroll the historic Riverwalk, shop the luxurious stores on Las Olas Boulevard or venture to the Everglades for an intriguing air boat excursion.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas: Holland America Line's pristine private island offers everything you need for a day of play in paradise: a two-mile crescent of perfect beach; an interior lagoon; private beachside cabanas with showers, misters and butlers; and all manner of watersports and activities, including a children's aqua park and a buoyed personal watercraft course. Nearby, explore San Cristobal de Las Casas cathedral, which combines baroque and colonial styles of architecture. Journey to a rainforest and marvel at the lush mangroves and abundant wildlife. Try a fresh tamale, a delicious part of celebrations here, or shop for local handicrafts like tin toys, wood and stone carvings or colorful textiles. Huatulco, Mexico: Everything you ever wanted in a seaside resort: warm sun, sandy beaches and nine beautiful bays rimmed in every shade of blue. Nearby: low-growth caducifolia jungles teeming with birdlife and the nesting grounds of endangered sea turtles. Victoria, B.C.: A touch of England awaits: afternoon tea, double-decker buses, the famed Butchart Gardens – a brilliant tapestry of color spread across 50 blooming acres. 2008 19-Day Panama Canal Quilt Camp at Sea (April 22 to May 11, 2008)
Please mail your $100.00 per person non-refundable registration fee (check or money order only, please) to be applied towards your cruise deposit and this completed registration form to Quilt Camp at Sea 3819 Walthew Dr. S.E., Olympia, WA 98503-4160. Please make your check payable to “Carlson Wagonlit Travel Center” or “CWTC”.
Payment of the additional quilting fee of $150.00 for quilters will be required to be confirmed in the 7-session quilting class selection of your choice. Travel insurance information will be included in your confirmation packet. Travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days to cover pre-existing conditions.
Upon receipt of your deposit, a registration confirmation, class registration form, travel insurance information, and a full color deck plan of Holland America Line’s ms. Westerdam will be sent to assist you in selecting your classes and stateroom category. Your deposit balance of $900.00 per person is required to assign your stateroom. Cruise deposit balances and travel insurance premiums may be paid using a credit card; however, registration deposits and quilting fees must be paid by check or money order only! A credit card authorization form will be included with your cruise registration confirmation. Staterooms will be assigned on a first come/first served basis at the time the full deposit is received and you will receive a cruise invoice balance statement with your stateroom assignment. Final payment is due January 7, 2008. Cancellations received after registration will result in the loss of your registration fee and travel insurance premiums (if applicable). Cancellations received after January 7, 2008 will result in a loss of your entire $1,000.00 deposit, the quilting fee (if applicable), and travel insurance premiums (if applicable). Cancellations received after February 7, 2008 will result in the loss of 50% of your cruise package cost and the quilting fee (if applicable), and travel insurance premiums (if applicable). Cancellations received after March 22, 2008 will result in the loss of your entire cruise package cost, the quilting fee (if applicable), and travel insurance premiums (if applicable). Cancellations must be received in writing, with the reason for the cancellation stated, by Quilt Camp at Sea prior to the cancellation date applicable to avoid additional cancellation penalties.

The total cost of each cruise package includes: Cruise fare in the stateroom category you select; all on-board meals including late night buffets and complimentary room service; shipboard activities including Las Vegas style shows and entertainment provided by the cruise line; port charges, taxes, and government fees totaling $309.30; private one hour Bon Voyage and farewell cocktail parties; and the opportunity to win the Cruise Memory Quilt. The separate $150.00 quilting fee includes: One 5-session class with the quilting instructor plus two Quilt ‘til You Wilt/Make It & Take It class sessions, use of Janome sewing machines during classes and Quilt ‘til You Wilt/Make It & Take It class sessions, souvenir tote bag, and the opportunity to win door prizes throughout the cruise including a Janome sewing machine. Not included in cruise package rates are gratuities, transportation to the ship in Fort Lauderdale, Florida or from the ship in Seattle, Washington, items of a personal nature, travel insurance, and shore excursions or other optional activities available through Holland America that are not included in the cruise fare for all passengers on this cruise. Port charges, taxes, and government fees are subject to change; increases must be collected at final payment and decreases will be refunded on each passenger’s shipboard account.
